Opportunities
The Music Ministry of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church presents a variety of service opportunities for people of all ages.


Adult Choir
(Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. in the Choir Room)
Choir membership is open to all adults and youth (high school and above) without auditions.  You don't have to be a phenomenal singer to be involved, you just have to have a heart that desires to worship Christ.  The Worship Choir sings in our 10:15 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. worship times each Sunday and other special events throughout the year.

Orchestra
(Sundays at 4:30 p.m. in the Worship Center)
The Orchestra membership is open to instrumental musicians with a minimum of 2+ years in a music program. The Orchestra plays for both our Sunday morning and evening worship times and other special events.  If you have a heart for worshiping the Lord through music, this ministry could be for you!  Contact Miriam Roberson to join us.

Youth Choir (180)
The name of our Youth Choir is 180. It is open to seventh through twelfth grade. We meet on Wednesday evenings in the Worship Center at 5:30 pm.

Children’s Choir
(Wednesday evenings at 5:30 pm in the Worship Center)
We refer to our Children's Choir as our Graded Choir and they are named the Mount Pleasant Praisers. This group offers your child a wonderful opportunity to learn musical skills from outstanding teachers while learning and growing in Christ. Children ages 4 through sixth grade are encouraged to participate.
