Welcome to the Children's Ministry of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church 

Our goal is that your children will come to know Christ, understand His Word, grow in their own spiritual walk, and be able to share the love of Christ with others.  We believe that in conjunction with parents, we can help a child grow spiritually to know God's will for their life.  Working together with parents and reinforcing biblical beliefs is the key to equipping our kids to face the world and be able to make decisions in their life based on God's word and not man's.

In a recent Barna Group Study it was pointed out that a person's world view is primarily shaped and is firmly in place by the time they reach the age of 13;  it is refined through experience during the teen and early adult years; and the it is passed on to others during their adult life.  Did you know that a child has a 32% chance of accepting Christ as their Savior between the ages 5 to 13?  After age 13 this percentage begins to drop drastically.  Our goal is that every time that we meet at church for any activity a clear concise opportunity to know Christ will be presented and offered.
